Timberlane Middle School in Pennington, New Jersey recently donated $1,200.00 to Christine’s Hope for Kids Foundation. The school has a fundraiser every year called “Kiss A Pig”, which they coordinated perfectly with our “Pennies from Heaven” campaign.
The kids collected pennies (and more –thanks parents and Timberlane Staff!) in jars adorned with teachers’ and faculty members’ faces. The person with the most money in their jar had to literally “kiss” a pig!
Christine’s Hope for Kids will match the donation dollar for dollar and contribute the proceeds to a worthy recipient. The students will chose where they want the money to go by voting for one of three options on their upcoming “Democracy Day”.
This was such a great effort by the student body. Many underprivileged kids in our local area will benefit from their contribution. Christine attended Timberlane Middle School and we are both extremely grateful and humbly honored for their participation in our foundation.
