Shark River Hills Elementary School in Neptune, New Jersey recently wrapped up their "Pennies from Heaven" campaign. Approximately $260.00 was raised by the students and donated to Christine's Hope for Kids Foundation. The school chose Special Strides Therapeutic Riding Center in Monroe Township, New Jersey, to be the recipient of their contribution. Special Strides allows children to enjoy animals and ride horses while receiving the therapeutic benefits.
Christine's Hope for Kids Foundation matched the money raised by the kids and presented Special Strides coordinator Karen Goldberg with a check for six-hundred dollars. Kids helping kids, way to go Sharks!
