Hopewell Elementary School participated in our Pennies from Heaven program recently. The students collected the pennies and their total was $253.00!! With the foundation match (and a little rounding off) we made a check out for $525.00. Hopewell Elementary chose the Miracle League of Mercer County to receive their donation. This is all the more special for Hopewell as they have friends in their school who actually participate and play ball on the Miracle League field. The field itself is made from a special rubber turf which allows wheelchairs, walkers, and children with disabilities to play the game of baseball. Kids helping kids, what could be a better lesson! Thank you Hopewell Elementary for your support and participation in our program and for your wonderful choice.
