Trenton Catholic Academy Lower School held their third annual "Pajama Day" event for Christine's Hope for Kids in January. The students brought in $2.00 each to wear their pajamas to school. This has become a huge event at the school, growing every year. This year the students and faculty raised $850.00. CHFK will match that amount making it $1700.00 to purchase new pajamas, a stuffed animal and a book. All will then be packaged in our bright yellow bags and distributed to kids in shelters, hospitals, and in need. Imagine the comfort and smiles these bags will bring to so many children. We thank everyone at Trenton Catholic Academy and especially Principal Mrs. Anne Reap who started this project at her school in memory of Christine. Stay tuned to next year, we have a challenge for Mrs. Reap and the whole student body is behind us!!! Kids helping kids, one pajama bag at a time.
