Christine's Hope for Kids Foundation recently presented Green Acres Little League with a donation that will allow some great kids to "play ball" this Spring and Summer. The Foundation awarded $1500.00 to the little league organization, which will enable ten very deserving youngsters to enjoy the game while learning life lessons through team work, hustle and sportsmanship. Every child in the country deserves a chance to take part in the American pastime, and we want to help as many as we can to do just that!
Christine's Hope for Kids Foundation was created in memory of Christine Gianacaci, who tragically lost her life along with three fellow Lynn University students and two professors while serving with Food for the Poor in Haiti when the devastating earthquake struck. It is in the spirit of giving that we honor their memories by helping underprivileged children and kids with differences.
