The Lower Makefield Elementary School in Yardley, Pa. presented Mrs. Kathy Rhead from The Miracle League in Hamilton, New Jersey with a check for $800.00 on May 15th, 2011. The check represented $395.00 they raised in the Pennies from Heaven program, under the direction of Mrs. Lisa Lowe. Christine's Hope for Kids Foundation then matched the amount making it an even $800.00!
The Miracle League is located in Hamilton, New Jersey and is a specialized baseball field which allows children with disabilities to be able to play the great game of baseball. Fantastic job, Lower Makefield Elementary!
