Little leaguer Justin Friedman collected gently used baseball equipment for his mitzvah. He collected during his games in the month of May. Hundreds of items were collected bats, gloves, helmets, shoes, balls and full sets of catcher equipment. All from his teammates that had outgrown the items or no longer had use for them. Justin then teamed with Christine’s Hope for Kids and we found some very deserving kids at the Trenton 611 Little League who really needed some equipment to play ball this summer. We have a saying at CHFK “when you're done with it, turn it in or pass it down” and that’s just what these kids did. This is another great example of kids helping kids and Justin Friedman proves this time after time. Great job paying it forward Justin!
