Keith Stewart knows how much John and Jean Gianacaci have meant to the Springdale Golf Club.
He also knows the kind of person their daughter, Christine, was before her tragic death while on a mission trip in Haiti last year with other students from Lynn University. After her passing, the Christine’s Hope for Kids organization was formed to help underprivileged children in the United States.
Stewart, the golf pro at Springdale, wanted to do his part to help aid the cause. He, along with assistant pro Andy Richardson, decided to do a golf marathon on Sept. 4 to raise money for Christine’s Hope. The two, with the aid of assistant pro Tom Bezek, wound up playing 136 holes of golf that day. And thanks to the generosity of the members of Springdale, raised close to $25,000.
